How Can New Pathways
Counseling Help?
What you’re going through is exhausting! I will tailor your sessions based on your symptoms, your goals, and your experiences to help you find calm as quickly as possible.
This Usually Involves:
Teaching calming techniques during our first few sessions so you experience some immediate relief
Discover the source of your anxiety
Recognize and heal triggers from past events
Learning new behaviors or thought processes
What Techniques Do You Use?
Usually, the deeper work involves a combination of four that have been scientifically proven to minimize – if not eliminate – many forms of anxiety:
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
Mindfulness Therapy
Somatic Awareness techniques
Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy
